Gardiner fan or pencil

Hi all. I went to order a Gardiner half radius sill brush but it comes with either fan or pencil jets what do you use? Does one use less water or sheet better?

You can fit both in some of their brushes and swap about whenever you fancy.

My experience of the sill brush was not good with fan jets. Technique was one issue, but I found the jets rarely worked properly. They were forever getting blocked and the resultant spray was uncontrollable. I have now gone back to a standard brush with pencils. The only exception is for cleaning fascias when the sill brush works well with fan jets.

Thanks I think I'll stick with the pencils then. Keep it simple.
