Hose reel leaks
« on: April 30, 2014, 12:07:40 pm »
Since buying a new pump and flow controller my hose leaks a lot and causes a lot pressure to drop at the brush head.
I currently use just normal hozelock garden hose fittings( as this was never a problem before)
I am wondering what is the best hose fitting i can buy that will stop leaks, but still let me reel the hose in???
I'm not using a van mounted reel

Brass swivel elbow with plastic hoselock. It solved all my problems..... well not all of them...

I use rectus 26ka.

Others have said hoselock is fine but in my opinion they were never designed to handle 100psi

Just read your post properly. We use the rectus KA for hose to pole and these:

for the hose reel.

Just buy a good quality brass hoselock type connector from B&Q.
