I got banned last week as well! Didn't have a clue
Why?!? It said

"7 day ban well over stepped the mark"

I hadn't posted for a while so it did confuse me!

I just logged in from my laptop and went back to normal

Right, I think I know what I'm doing wrong.  I'm banning on IP numbers.  That ban you're talking about was for someone else and maybe you shared the same IP number as him, so you ended up with the ban too.

Thanks; I'll not ban on IP numbers in future if they're shared (I'll check first).

Doesnt that mean multiple accounts or two users living in the same house?

should you not be turning the modem OFF and then ON?

because if you turn it on then off how can you see the IP address??
