Which is the best. Digital or analogue controllers

I have only had analogue, but have had it 4.5yrs and it has not given me any trouble, that was from cleaning spot. Digital would probably give more precise control, but other than that, i think it would just be down to personal choice.

I was thinking on the lines of, analogue being more reliable but there is the chance I could snap the numptys off. digital is smooth and more water proof

The Digitals will provide a little more information for example current battery voltage. The digitals also have a low battery shut down over ride have an auto calibration feature.
That said the Analogue has many of the features of the digital, It used LED lights to display info. You will have to go some to break the Numpties of it though.

As Simon mentions it all comes down to personal preference
