aqua tap-not sure
« on: April 03, 2014, 11:38:11 pm »
Been using the aqua tap for 2 days now.

It's great for upstairs windows but I seem to be struggling on the downstairs windows

Maybe its me!
Any other aqua tap users out there?

I seem to keep twisting the pole and turning the water off doing downstairs windows.

I wonder if it only works when brush is square to window which is easier doing ups.

Will gjve it a couple more days then back tk the aqua dapter.

Do like the lightness of aqua tap though.

But did quite a few down windows in tight spaces or where brush head was easier at 45 degrees
which was a problem for me anyways ::)roll

you can do two things
1 dismantle and wipe any lubricant away
2 it will stiffen up with use

i use gardiners easyloc swivel on my pole mark as a standard connection he has no problem putting the brush on the glass and turning on,were i tend to place the brush
under the cill or between the window and the soffit, this squares it up and i can then turn off and on. ....upstairs windows only

Mine has actually stiffened up so will need to actually lubricate it this week end

when i use marks pole i notice i have to keep a small amount of pressure to the right, to keep the tap in the open position when on ground floor windows

i think its just a matter of practice and adapting to it

thanks for the advice bobplum.

will try those, think i might have the swivel adapter neck from gardiners in the garage somewhere ::)roll
funny i thouhgt that would have been a bad combo with the aqua tap.

Have you used the aqua-dapter Bob?

If so is the aqua-tap your new fav ;D

thanks lee.

this morning after my reply i stripped it in 2 minutes lightly greased it and its worked great all day.
I prefer it over the Aquadapter

The combo of the Aqua tap and a swiveling brush can be awkward at first but i just adapted to it and has you said so light
