Many thanks in advance

Are you refering to use the commercial use of a standpipe?

If so you simply apply to your local authority i think the fee is £195 and you have free use of the water for whatever commercial apllication you need.

If you mean going on to a commercial tariff, the last time I checked you had to be using huge amounts of water before they insist you become a 'commercial' customer.

If you're worried contact your water authority, or look on their website - ours list all their tariffs and conditions of use.

thanks fellas, and yes was meaning commercial use of water.
I know most people probably don't bother, unless you are a big set up and work from a commercial premises, However, as I work from home in effect I was asking at what point you need to pay separate for the water, if at all, as I don't want the water board knocking on my door.
I will check on the local website as mentioned.
Many thanks
Steve
