As a ban on ladders comes into force from 12am tomorrow I'm just wondering will
any of you guys report any fellow windows cleaners still working on ladders ?
Would be a good way of picking up some new work and the trad guys have only themselves to blame
as they've had 6 months notice.

its real i got fined today. £60 on the spot fine for using ladders  they have impounded my ladders until i pay the £60.

I was only using mine to get onto a flat roof and they saw me.

There's another ban too. Window cleaners who can only clean outsides, will be forced to take special training, so they can be real window cleaners. If they aren't incapable of completing a simple inside conny clean, they will have to wear pointy hats so that customers can tell the difference between window cleaners and people who don't know their ar$e from their elbows.

I have a new business, I put on a uniform and go round issuing fines to unsuspecting window lickers, and I then take their ladders......
