FTAO ALEX G & everyone else :p
« on: March 29, 2014, 01:33:16 pm »
I was thinking a gap exists with your brush range.

Extremes are 125grams

Sill brush is 225grams.

I was wondering an extreme brush with more bristles would be a great addition?

Something around the 170-180gram mark with jets, hose and connector.

Also I know it's only grams. Buy would plastic pencil jets ever happen? You did it with fan jets.........

Cheers

I have been pondering on this myself. I'll bump this up on my to do list.

Plastic pencil jets - can't see them being as durable as they need hammering into the brush stock.

Yes, mono-filament, dual trim. Thicker bristles.

Excellent. This would be a brilliant idea.

How much wider would you want on a Sill brush?

Bought a 2nd sill brush from you to modify for sash windows - Will post piccys when done.

I would be interested to see an extreme style brush with more rows of bristles. Personally it wouldn't bother me if it was a bit heavier.

I've tried a couple of extreme brushes but I keep going back to dual trim flocked superlite cos the extreme's bristles are just too flimsy in my opinion.

Could they not be made as part of the manufacturing process in the brush stock?

There are four rows of bristles on an Xtreme, a fifth, central row would be interesting. Maybe even just slightly shorter than the inner two rows- the worlds first "triple trim" wfp brush!! :)

Hi s.w.c

Yes I have still got that cut down Sill brush, thanks. I might dig it out and have another play.

They probably could - although whether they could be made with the same precision as our current pencil jet range is another matter - 1.4mm, 2mm & 3mm

We also need to be able to fit Fanjets for clients when needed.

I have tried to get this made in the past but the current machinery can only do 2 different heights of material.
