« on: March 29, 2014, 09:54:29 am »

She has in the past left gates locked, text on the day saying "come next month im away"
When im sure she was in :D

I got up today my battery hadn't charged, so i used another battery and the connector fell off.. This morning has been annoying to say the least :o

How would you of handled it ?

I was expecting a text based massacre but it actually sounds perfectly reasonable without being offensive - don't see a problem personally.

I'm sure she will be grateful for you posting her mobile number up on a public forum.

here's my version

No problem Mrs Iwillhaveemdonewhenisay .. have put you onto my as and when list and put a new regular clean into your old time slot ... £25 a visit ... best wishes Ian

so not dumped them but maybe priced them so they dump themselves but if they stay on board should be a well priced job .............. in my text im assuming price was around £14.

I'd have replied

"Thank you for your text.  This is the Xth time we have let you know we were coming and been cancelled, so we're taking you off the regular round and moving someone else up from our waiting list.  If you'd like us to clean at any point in the future please do let us know and we'll agree a price. Our one-off clean prices start at £60. Thank you for your business in the past."

That way you have let her know:

You're not coming again (taking you off the round)
You're not desperate for her business (waiting list)
Why you're not coming again (specific reason)
That she can still use you at the right price (£60 worth it in the event she calls?)
That you're not annoyed.

That said, I didn't think there was too much wrong with what you sent except that it isn't clear to me from the text what her position is.  She probably still thinks you're going to be going round again.
