Aqua adapter
« on: March 24, 2014, 04:56:02 pm »
First day using aqua adapter it's on my slx 22 pole. Couldn't believe the weight on the pole it's top heavy and in my opinion defeats the purpose of paying good money for a carbon fibre pole with what feels like a brick on end of pole. The spring broke just before lunch are these replaceable?

i spoke to someone about a month ago from aquadapter regarding two faulty plastic connecters that lasted a week, (i called the mobile number) i was told i could have two of them, so i waited an none turned up.  in the end i changed all back to the old faithful ez snap from gardiners

we prefer the aquadapters on the longer poles but on the 18ft domestics we use, aquataps

Love the aquadaptors, as above wouldn't use anything else, but I will say of late some of the quality has dropped some of the mk3 xl' shave been put together with nut and bolts, these constantly come undone allowing the AD to flex badly.  Had to change them to rivets.

You should be able to put a gooseneck on the tapered thread which would have the quick loc fitting on the other end.

You can get an adaptor to screw in the aqua tap with a stem that fits the pole off the gardiners web site.
