Google Advertising

Hi guys...

I know it's about optimization and all that and having certain wordings on your website etc but how apart from this do you get to come up on the first page on google? I have now scrapped yell as only had 79 clicks on my site in a year and want to spend money on google.. Are there companies that are genuine and guarantee to get your website on the first page? Also not too expensive?  I have googled my company and I come 4 pages down on google which is useless cos most people would probably pick a company on the first page or second.

Thanks  :)

Get Nat to optimise your site.

If you're doing Adwords, get in touch with Ash White.
Both on here.

How do I get in contact with nat? My brother designed the website for me and only has access to it which is causing problems cos I want to have access to my own website... Is this normal with websites? I guess it doesn't help cos it takes my brother weeks to get anything done I ask him to lol so I need to find a way of controlling my own site..

So not quite sure how nat would do this... I will have to speak to my brother...

What about these companies you see that advertise that they guarantee to get you on first page on google? Has anyone used these?

The only people who can "Guarantee" this is Google themselves,.. anyone else is subject to Googles whims!

In reality though, its usually quite easy to get ranked for a specific keyword or phrase  - but its choosing the phrases that give you the biggest exposure in Google where the real trick lies. For example - in many areas the phrase "Window Cleaner" is searched up to ten times more often that "Window Cleaning",.. so being on page 1 foe "Suffolk Window Cleaning" might actually be worse that being on page 4 for "Suffolk Window Cleaner".

You have to research which keywords relevant to your business are searched most in your area (The Google keyword planner lets you do this very accurately) and then design your site from the ground up to target those keywords.
