yes ben it came with the new smart clamps.ive just started clamping it a bit further up when extended(the clamping point is quite wide)and its fine now.

you defo have to be more careful with these poles esp when shutting windows with the brush but the lightness and rigidity are second to none.dead easy to use.

i will buy one (xtreme25) as soon as they are back in stock

I have had 2 sections break while cleaning solar panels. Excellent advice I received from Alex was to extend 2 sections halfway where possible instead on one section all of the way. This increases the rigidity of the pole.
