jeeesh!thats bad!are you sure you havent had an accident with a saw? ::)roll

how long is the warranty 12 months?

its not even the thinnest section!

both my extreme poles are fine apart from a little wear at the 2 top clamping point on the 25 footer.
price higher/work harder!

Snapped 3 far.

Two first sections and a third section.

Carbon is very brittle yet strong I know eh!

Last one was on a tile edge.

Hats off to Alex he sent me a second hand section cheap.

Each time it's been our/my fault.

We did have one snap after two weeks tho. Which was well weird.

Have you got the new clamps on your 25 ft Daz?

yes ben it came with the new smart clamps.ive just started clamping it a bit further up when extended(the clamping point is quite wide)and its fine now.

you defo have to be more careful with these poles esp when shutting windows with the brush but the lightness and rigidity are second to none.dead easy to use. ;D

Not surprised it snapped if your using it to close windows. Phone call night before or an arranged date gets around the problem of having to push windows closed with pole. If a window is open I will ring the doorbell if convenient, otherwise I leave it open and wash the window if possible or leave it

Had three sections go,  these poles are great for high work, but as soon as you start

working at low angles, they cant take the pressure for to long,

my extreme is now slowly turning into an slx, as each section goes,

i buy an slx to replace it, (not when the first one went though).

not bothered about lightness no more,

don't want to be worrying each time i clean an awkward low window thinking is this

going to snap it,     john.

I've snapped 3 and everyone I know who has one (3 people) have snapped sections too. They are brittle. I took this high modulus to mean light but strong, apparently it just means light.

ive lost several sections over the past .I think they just get weak after a while.
the price you pay for a light pole. :(

Well I snapped a section on a longer xtree one but it was far from normal use - mea culpa.  The wind took it.

I guess the thing is we cant have everything. If you want light and fairly wear resistant go SLX, if you want ultra light go Extreme, if you want solid go Ali pole. That's the thing with Alex, he gives us options (maybe not ali) and I honestly thing we would still be in the dark ages (brodex predator anyone) if it wasn't for his inventiveness. I remember when a fairly light CF pole was about £800.00 from facelift. It still would be is it wasn't for Gardiners.

I whinge and I moan when I break a section or destroy a brush but I still go back because it is generally great gear.
