hi what is the payload for a new sooty van , someone told me it is 1000 kg surely that cant be right

As far as i remember, that was a suzuki supercarry/bedford rascal and you dont get them any more, pity!.

Closest you can get today would be the piaggio porter (which is a rebadged daihatsu hijet). The hijet van had a payload of about 630kg(!), i would think the piaggio has about the same payload.

You could also look at the dfsk which, as a van, has a payload of 550kg

I had a suzuki st90 for a while, that was the predecessor to the supercarry, loved it, cracking little van!
