on paper you have worked out to 900kg but in practice it will be over,

my van with a 1000kg payload with just a leisure battery,600l full tank/frame, hose reel, heater and a gas bottle, no ladders with half a tank of diesel was 10 kg off the gvw on a weigh bridge with me in it

a connect is only 900kg payload, and you want to add more water, another passenger and another hose reel,
I knew someone who had a 500l tank in a connect t230 and with the tank full it was over the gvw on a weigh bridge.

as someone else has recently said he had a vivaro 2700 on  a weigh bridge with a 650l tank and 2 men inside and it was 200kg overweight,

You have a point there H20, i think most of us are assuming 2 man setup, hence the need for 650l, and in one of the last poss on the previous page, crystal mentions 2 hose reels (which obviously suggests 2 man), but in the same post, mentions 1 user, and 90kg user weight ???.

Sorry pure H20

2 man setup and this is the important part the second person doesn't sit in van until 100kg of water has been used

I do not have a second person yet but will aim too

I want a 650 tank because I live in a flat and want to ensure I carry the most as I need to fill 300l a day and taking time off to fill costs money off the job also I want to have an ro attached so when I find a tap I fill a bit again

I don't know which part of London you live in but if it's any where within driving distance, there's a bloke that sells pure water near Dartford just off the M25/A2.

I'm sure that when needed, you could come to an arrangement to fill up there during the evenings.
Just chant..... Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. It's beats chanting Tory Tory or Labour Labour.

I wouldnt worry too much about milage crystal, vans tend to go on forever nowdays!
1 of my vans is on 235k and doesnt miss a beat, reguly serviced and just had new cambelt fitted so will hopefully do another 100k with minimal probs.
My other van has 71k with full service history and is forever going wrong had gearbox and clutch in same year go.
Its just the luck of the draw.
