SLX/CLX pole wear???
« on: March 19, 2014, 12:54:45 pm »
Looking to maybe purchase a new pole and looking at the Gardiners CLX or SLX?

Just wondered as the CLX is 50% carbon and fiberglass, what is the wear like on this pole over a 100% carbon type?

Thanks.

Wear is fine on both. I have a YouTube video explaining who to extend the life of a pole as well.

FYI forget the CLX go straight to the SLX.

yup we've found this too ... prob lasting twice as long and when it does wear gets a fortune on eBay .... just must describe it as worn out and they still sell  :)

Yeah thought as much. I had an old fibreglass pole which degraded quite quickly. I know full carbon is way to go just got to stomach the extra £70+
