Smart Clamps - Alex - Anyone?
« on: March 16, 2014, 11:41:50 pm »
I'm after getting a smart clamp upgrade for a SLX 18 foot pole.  It's about three years old.

What do I buy?  I'm confused by the website, though to be fair, I am a Geordie.

Hi Tosh

You would need to replace the #2, #3 & #4 clamp with the new smart clamps. There is no need to replace the #1 clamp on this type of upgrade.

Drop me an email and I can get this sorted for you.

Thanks, Alex; I've just ordered, it's simple enough now you've explained it.

Cheers for the brilliant service.

If we did, Alex would need counselling once I'd finished with him.

I glued the clamps on earlier today and just removed the excess glue and tried them out.

They're class; the three-year-old SLX is like brand new again.

Cheers; well impressed.

Might be a dumb question but is clamp 1  the one that holds the angle adapter on?
