Fibreglass it if you can, absolute c*nt of a job if you are doing it yourself (and your van will stink for days afterwards!), but it does offer the best protection. Otherwise, protectakote, or something similar. Oh, and it is definitely worth doing, especially if you plan to keep your van for a while.

I used the fiberglass resin and then top coated it on my van but it smells so bad for a while after, i would be tempted to just protectakote next time
