Replacement clamps (twist type)
« on: March 15, 2014, 09:09:03 pm »
Any idea where i would be able to buy some replacement clamps for an old aluminium telescopic pole?

They are the twist type clamps that you twist/screw to tighten.

I have seen unger ones, but not sure if they would only fit an unger telescopic pole. Looking for generic ones as i dont know what brand (if any) the pole i have is.

How long is the pole? You can buy an aluminium pole with clamps for about fifteen quid for residential work.

Tbh Matt I'd get rid of that pole and get different pole, you can pick up poles pretty cheap. I had them clamps about 10 years ago when I got my system with Omnipole. Hated them as you'd tighten them up then the top pole would slip down so you'd have to drop the pole retighen and put up again, when you had to loosen it would be so tight that you had to tap it with a brick to loosen it horrible things. Best clamps
Fore are the ones where you pull the leaver and push it shut !!! 👍
