Scrub Or Not To Scrub?
« on: March 10, 2014, 07:47:07 am »
I came across an old post on here about stages of conservatory roof cleaning.

One thing i noticed was the soak and wash stage.

I apply chemicals in accordance with the job. IE If the weather is hot or its a glass roof etc.

Who here applies the chemical then washes it off with the customers hose pipe hoping to remove lots of green/dirt?

I have never tried this, but i am guessing it could speed things up?

conservatory roof cleaning is not rocket science!course you have to scrub!! ::)roll ;D

spray roof(i use virosol)

leave for 2 mins

scrub and rinse A LOT

job done

i will use customers outside taps if available as the flow is stronger and you dont waste pure in your tank.

for clear glass roofs i finish off with pure from tank.

i have 20m of microbore specifically for outside taps for add on jobs.

best wishes

That doesn't answer my question.

Who here applies the chemical then washes it off with the customers hose pipe hoping to remove lots of green/dirt?

Leave for 2 mins? On average i pre soak for 15 - 20 mins
