Do you put a slip through your customers door?

ALWAYS put a date on your slips. The customers know exactly where they are.

Nope.

It's nearly a week ago!

Tell her if she lets you know within 24 hours that you can come back and re clean any windows she isn't happy with.

A week is too long.

Some customers get their windows cleaned every two weeks for that very reason........they do get dirty.lol

If you value her custom pop back and re-clean, if not leave her for another window cleaner to pick up. The wet and windy weather last week was not ideal for cleaning IMO. I only worked 1 day but have had no complaints.  ;D Yes I didnt earn alot but properly planned (wet weather fund) you never have to work in the rain or on windy showery days, again IMO.

 get rid   id say

 and find fresh

[ texting the night before is asking for bad text replies , i never text unless a last resort , once they are onboard . even then its best to not text back the same day i have found

This is the way I see it as well. A slip can get lost with the rest of the junk mail or there is always the possibility that we forgot to write a slip out to begin with.

I cleaned the fronts of one house last week (and got paid for it) before the weather quickly turned. I will automatically redo that house when we do the rest of them in the street this coming week.

One house I did on Tuesday was minging again by the Thursday when I went to collect (Wednesday was hurricane day here). She was out so I recleaned them. Collected Friday, and she was delighted.

It will be because of the stormy weather! I did mine last Friday and looking at them now they look like they've not been cleaned in months!!

Phone the custy up and explain the situation if they are still not happy offer a discount on the next clean.

I had a customer ring me saying that I had missed 2 windows and she was going to knock a fiver off the bill. For the life of me the more I thought about it I had done them. So I rang her and told her I'm sure I did them, she was amendment. I called in to see her and re clean, she followed me to the windows, and said see. I said I could see exactly the problem, opened the window and cleaned the inside. And said I think you owe me the fiver and a bit of diesel laughing, in all fairness she gave me a tenner.
