e.u. grants
« on: March 21, 2006, 07:52:09 pm »
not sure if anyone has covered this before, but as window cleaners i think it is fair to say that we are being pushed towards wfp by the european union, now thats fair enough and they are obviously trying to improve safety, but as there is quite a large outlay to swop to wfp, i wonder if there would be any chance of a grant from them, they seem to give grants to most people these days why not us hard working w/c's
there are more windows than window cleaners so lets help each other

I've briefly, and I mean briefly, researched this and found that grants are available, but they're aimed at getting businesses to employ people.

For example, if you earnt £30K a year using a ladder and you wanted a grant to go WFP so that you can earn £50K per year, then you would get the big 'Suck That' tablet.

However, if you put up a case where you could employ X amount of people if you had a grant, then you would be considered.
