Jacking it all in ?  Then you get a glimpse of sunshine pop through and it reminds you that summer is coming. Had a moment yesterday in Farnham, doing a job and the wind was cold, raining and miserable. I'm standing there in my waterproofs, custy comes out and goes ' want a cuppa' so as I stop the sun comes out and flip my little coin....lovely.. Not long now lads keep going.

this week is the only week that i reckon ill have to have more than one full day off due to bad weather in my working week over the course of this winter.

thats good going considering ive had up to 3 weeks off in previous winters due to heavy snow.

tomorrow looks workable and maybe friday morning.saturday looks a total washout again.

i still reckon ill get all my work up to date and completed by friday 28th feb(short month this month).


no full week off at the end of the month as usual but i can live with that.

4 weeks  Id be panicking at 4 weeks, i would draft in the army to get me back up to speed  lol

I know what ya mean fella, today i looked at weather and though sod this. Called up dad and mum and we are going out for lunch my treat. Far more important things to worry about and stress over. Yeah nobody is working today and i wont earn a penny. Who gives a toss, wheh people are flooded and worrying about their homes

I/we all get days like that especially when u get rained off it's so frustrating especially as a couple of rainy days can throw me off my 4 weekly cycle...

However I think u can't beat working for yourself... more time for family,no one to answer to... The pros defo outweigh the cons to me.

I don't mind rain but its these storms that are driving me to despair.
They are saying it could last another month or two.
To be honest if there was anything out there job wise Id jack it in.
I do feel guilty moaning at the moment when I know there are people out there
who are getting it a lot worse.
Both at home and in their businesses.

I hope tomorrow is workable. I have some work in a village that I want to get finished (£120) else it will be a week apart from the rest.

Every customer says 'I bet your not getting much done in this weather', and I havent lost any so not worried. Been cleaning them for up to 10 years so not that worried really.
