tax deadline increased ....

Hi
Just seen Mr Camoron on tv saying they are allowing you an extra 3 months to pay tax due if your business has suffered due to storms???
 does he not realise the deadline was 31st january ::)roll so its a bit late to tell us that one.......
 what a twat!

I didn't hear about that, but it is typical pandering after the event. Unless I am mistaken, the "storms" only started at Christmas so I fail to see how it could be an excuse for not paying on time, but I haven't read about it.

Has it occurred to you that corporation tax is due nine months after the end of the company accounting year, rather than January?  I wonder if he knew that?  What a numpty he must be!
