New Gardiners clamps 👳👳👳
« on: February 10, 2014, 12:45:50 pm »
Fitted these clamps a few months back could be longer, do t use the pole all the time. I got use to the spinning of them but one clamp came lose so had to buy resin glue, glued it job done. Working to day another clamp has came lose so now gotta glue this one !!!! I don't think Alex gives enough glue in the first place from that little sachet.

Alex I think you need to send X2 sachets of glue when purchasing these clamps as I used it all but probably wasn't enough as the clamps are coming off
Had this happened to anyone else !!!! 👳👳👳👍

I've just popped down to the office and checked with the girls and they have no messages to ring anyone back. Could you try again on 01726 66400 or email me with your contact details on alex@agardiner.co.uk.

With regard to the glue, we do supply two sachets of glue with larger poles (7 clamps and above). However I have found using a sachet of glue is sufficient to glue 6 clamps. Extra sachets of glue are available on the website if wanted.

Thanks for getting back Alex, I'm not sure how many sections my slx 35 ft has, it was a few months back I rang which went onto answer phone to leave number and someone will get back which twice I left number and explaining I need to purchase Aimee resin glue but no one got back so bought some off eBay.

I did prepare the pole sanded it cleaned it took my time and used all the glue up, don't think there must have been enough glue to go around the pole quite alot
Not knocking you Alex I think your the best supplier your after sales is normally really good, your stuff you sell is first class  they must have been really busy and may have just forgot to call back.
I've glued the other clamp put quite alot of glue around the pole section after sanding down a little and getting other dried glue off. 👳👳👳👍

I did prepare very well, even watched the video on you tube !!! I just think the glue was limited and only put luttle but in each section incase I ran out and didn't have enough glue for the rest if the pole. Just think if I had 2 sachets I would have put alot more glue on each sections and wouldn't have had the worry of running out of glue

Ill be back !!! 💪💪💪👳👳👳👍

The best glue is JOINERS MATE from screw fix
Glue and a applicator spray .

Add glue one end , spray the other , then attach - fantastic , better than anything ever supplied to me from Wfp suppliers

It's about £12 , but you use it on other things
