Fair one, that looks alot better of a deal.

Thing is, ive got limited time to find a van (in my area) and this garage I was so happy with his service and aftercare that I want to use him again really.

The only issue is the mileage, it aint high really BUT far far far better deals out there.

If you bought the other one i said about, the few days you lost in getting it, would compensate for the difference in price.

BUT i know where you are coming from.

Why not rent a van for a week?

I would say that it is extremely expensive for the age and mileage.

I bought an ex rac van 57 reg 84k for £5300

The mileage is high for anything bud.

The engine may be 'bulletproof' or whatever they are saying these days but everything else aint. Suspension particularly suffers on high milers. Even 'motorway miles'
I prefer lower miles on an older van than the other way round

Why does it need to be in your area?
I bought my van from Pontefract Renault-(yorkshire)
And my car from Horsham Audi-(Sussex)
take the day off, get the train and a cab. If you get there and don't like what you've seen, train it home.
If you only look in your area you'll severely limit your options...

sorry to hijack the thread mate but what would be the biggest size tank that could be fitted in that style transit with a two man set up,passenger and the usual wfp gear?
i didnt realise the payload was that high on certain transits
