Or DIY for half that.

we use x-line, good quality, good advice and good after service, but if you could do it diy then that would be cheaper, just depends on your needs and ability to do diy,

Hi John (good avatar, best band in the world)

Where are you based? You could ask a local guy from here if you could pick his brains.
You can't polish a turd

Really want to go wfp but heard mixed reviews of customers I've gained a few from not liking it
But others say if it is used properly does a better job

I was like you. The key to the changeover is to keep your customers in the loop . Tell them you're changing to wfp and big-up the benefits , clean frames , no streaks etc. Keep telling them from now til you change. Also, if you do a quality job now as trad, they know you'll do a good job with the pole.
You'll be ok, and safer. Good luck.

Reviews from customers?  LOL! Ignore them.

You tell THEM what you're going to do, not the other way around.  90% won't care what you do as long as the windows are clean.  Tell everyone you're changing over because it's safer and it complies with the law - say that because there's no arguing with those reasons.

When used correctly WFP will easily do as good a job or better than trad.

And in half the time, and safely.  Its a no-brainer.

i know a company that have a few vans and ALL their staff use ladders and are 100% trad on most domestics and just use wfp on commercial.

id advise you to do the same as you ll lose loads of your customers and will put your business under threat.

its not perfect, just like trad methods, but used correctly you wont get many complaints once youve changed over, if your wanting to change then just do it, dont worry too much what customers say, you may lose a few, get the hang of it on your own house 1st to give you a bit of practice, or if you buy from a supplier they should give you some tips, also may have been said but if theres someone near you you know, they may be able to help

Doesn't sound like something a customer would say to be honest. Sounds like something a trad window cleaner would say to put others off it. Lol

If you want to go for it, just go for it.

In my experience you won't look back.

Customers who have heard from friends that a bad job has been made,  It is all about the user technique and not  the equipment used .

If you are switching over it is your decision not your custys , If you are switching because you dont want the risk of going up a ladder any more then your custys opinion does not matter.

I broke my back about 12 years ago now and was very close to spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair my wife was worried every day i went to work and would phone 2-3 times a day until i switched to WFP almost 6 years ago .

A side from the reduced risk factor you will be able to get more days work done  in wet and frosty weather , I was happy losing 6-7 custys in the early days and the odd custy here and their over the years rather than losing my ability to walk . Mike

Doesn't matter whether it's summer or winter, pure water will dry clear & spot free regardless of sun/temperature. Only contaminated pure water will dry & leave marks. ;)
