Leak on my pole hose...
« on: January 29, 2014, 05:13:53 pm »
My leg got proper soaked today  ;D

Right at the base of my CLX 27 the hose had a little cut from something or other. Not impressed, only to remember I had 50ish meters of that new Gardiners pole hose in the garage  ;D

Ideal, it seems lovely and flimsy. Not actually used it yet. I got sidetracked and gave the CLX a good clean along with renewing the tape stops, and found a new neck angle which I chucked on, and am using the older one for a DIY 6ft pole im making.

Big day tomorrow, got a load of work in a village about 4 miles from my house, which for us is far away so wanna get it all done in one day. BRING IT ON

 :D.

Exact same thing happened to me a few days ago! Was using the previous pole hose from gardiners as well, leg was absolutely drenched!

Used insulation tape to fix it up for now and have just ordered the new pole hose, hoping it won't kink and knot up as much

I cut an inch of my pole hose every week so it stops the wear by the pole cap.

:D
