pole cleaning question..
« on: January 09, 2014, 08:26:19 pm »
Always wondered, if you clean using wfp, how do you clean above long sloping roofs? Like roofs that come out really far and don't have a big slope? Do you stand reaaaaly far back? Lol

Ladders for big flat roofs where the windows away at the back of it.

Thought as much.. Had a lady iv cleaned for years cancel today because from November to February Its too slippy to get up there and clean the Window.. She recons shes gonna get a pole cleaner to do it... Good luck to her then ;) Il charge her £5 more when she realises she's paying double for the same thing in march and asks me back ;)

35' pole and Yes far - far - back unfortunately, it's a pig to do - zinc roof slippy as hell -  even if I was allowed to get up there I wouldn't!

On a bungalow I use a multi position ladder this takes me to the edge of the roof I then use
the pole to reach the window. (ladder in the upside-down y shape so not touching the roof.)
Even on the flattest of roofs I only need to go up about 4 rungs.
I never get onto the roof at any time of the year.
Any higher I clean them from the inside with the customers permission.

i can reach loads of awkward windows with my extreme 25 and they are easy with hardly any strain!if the 25 footer doesnt reach then i nip back to the van for the 47 footer.

this is why having extreme poles with extreme brushes is so good!well worth the money! :)
price higher/work harder!
