On Thursday and Friday, the WINDEX 2006 Exhibition was held at the ExCeL Cente in London's Docklands.
This is the largest UK window cleaning exhibition, and as well the latest products and equipment on show, visitors could benefit from a variety of free Seminars.

This year's attanance was over twice that of the last windex event, and you can see how busy it was in this image of the entranceway:
There were a number of free seminars, this is Justin Ruggles giving his "Starting from scratch with a water-fed pole" which was excellent. Standing room only for this one
Ettore are bringing out an innovative loyalty card scheme, this is their stand.

PWC Magazine - Here's our stand. I met up with an old friend here who I hadn't seen for 5 years.

A new exhibitor this year was SIAC - Safety In Access Contractor. A scheme sponsored by Time Consultancy. This is growing very fast, especially with rope-access, powered access and suspended access specialists.
Tucker Pole Systems' Stand. Tucker were showing off their new clamp, for which you no longer need to use a tool.
Window Cleaning Warehouse. Here is Steve Fox and Julian Davies. Their stand was very busy, and I had to wait for quite a while before I could take a picture. Must be that shiny new catalogue of theirs.
As expected, it was a well organised and popular event. The seminars were good, though in my opinion (with the exception of Justin) not as good as last year. I was especially looking forward to the Rope Access seminar and was very disappointed that IRATA's chairman never showed.
But that aside, it was a good two days, and I prefer the Thr/Fri show to the Fri/Sat anyday.
