Thanks 4 the above info, im very surprised! as i always thought on advise from a seller that the thinner the hose internal the more it will stress the pump over distance? flow rate etc? Im wonderin now whether anyone just uses qaulity pole hose on their reel?
I have been thinking about that, partly because the last 2 hoses i have bought don't seem to be as durable as before, not sure why?. Just seem to be more prone to wear and tear. Anyone else experienced this?, if not, where do you get your hoses from?

However, the pumps are more than capable of delivering through 6mm hose. What you may have to bear in mind though is that the pump will draw more amps & require a higher pressure setting for 6mm over 8mm.

I use a 110amp leisure batt and rotate it daily, BUT if buying between the two hoses, what is the one most of windys go for? Cheers m
