Working away today on a road we do 5 houses on .... used to be 8 but Mr Obnoxious sacked me when I went over to WFP as it left marks on the windows but at the time he couldnt show me any windows with marks on (think it was because I wasnt risking life and limb on a ladder and he didnt feel he was getting value for money
)
He took pleasure in telling me my services were no longer required as he had found a "proper" window cleaner who still used ladders and was £4 cheaper than me and over a few months lost the houses either side of him to his new window cleaner.
Anyhows he aproached DTM today whilst I was working some distance down the road asking what we charged so DTM called me over to give him a price.
So asked Mr Obnoxious why he now wanted to go back on the books and he told me that he has been let down by 3 windies since he binned me off (checked records tonight and last clean was Novemeber 2011 !! )
My initial reaction was to say go forth and multiply and tell your neighbours either side to do the same then remembered I was trying to be more grown up and business minded these days so said yup £16 but cant get to you until January .......... but it used to be £12 says Mr O ........... errr yes but its now £16 says me.
Wonder how long he will be on the books for this time ....... and charged him double for first clean in Jan.
