I shall be buying two or three and screwing the tools on. But good point.

I would imagine, once jammed on they should be pretty tight.

Hopefully the stem will be hollow, so you could be able to fit something like these......

Insert the adapter into squeegee handle, drill hole through adapter and squeegee handle and then insert the spring clip. Should work the same as the Gardiners button release.
