I just had a customer call me and say he had a guy knock at his house saying that his windows where cleaned and asking for payment!!!

Are there people out there looking for clean windows and trying to get the cash??

yes it happened to me years ago!

a guy took money off 4 of my customers.they still paid me as well though when they realised theyd been ripped off!!

the guy in question had knocked on loads of doors within a 5 mile area asking for money for wheelie bin cleaning and window cleaning!he d just got out of prison.i dont think it was long before he was back inside!

there are some cheeky beggars out there for sure!!

Happened to me to, years ago,  the mother was out, and the daughter paid him,

this family had a tight budget, so i said don't worry about it, but please just pay me

in future, and i warned the neighbors as well.       jp

Not happened to me yet - but there again my custies know that I don't collect but leave them a payslip with bank details or S.A.E. for a cheque.

Can't believe the nerve some people have to actually pull that stunt!
