Wfp Pigeons and Trad

I cant seem to remember many kamikaze pigeons when I was trad but now I get 1 or 2 every week wfp.
Heres this poor fellow from earlier today

I get this a lot too
Never once when trad, think it might be something to do with soap residue

I used to get this frequently when I was in England (I am trad).

Here in Ireland the pigeons seem to have more sense as it hasn't happened to me in over 2 years (yet)!

i get loads to, 

it seems to happen when there's no netting up, so they think its an opening,

or could be they see reflections of trees, an think they're flying into a tree   :-\      jp
