Hi all, im 100% trad at the moment and its really burning me out now. I know a good few of my customers would not have the wfp on their houses.

I just want to know if any of you lost many customers when introducing the wfp or did your business grow?

im a little worried of investing the cash so i want to be sure....

And I've nearly doubled in size since I went WFP.

If you are concerned then offer them a trial. If they are not happy then you will stop cleaning their windows. Highlight the benefits, cleaner frames etc, windows stay cleaner for longer so more value for money.

As long as you do a good job you don't have anything to worry about.

Doing a good job with WFP is easier said than done though, I see a fair amount of duff WFP ers that give it a bad name.

Just take your time and do a good job.

Don't be a splash and dash.

never lost any when i got wfp. i still trad plenty of my round. wfp will cut your time on the windies so plenty time spared to trad the others. wfp  makes it a lot easier.

Sorry but I totally disagree with your post, why invest in a WFP system then let the customer decide what method you use?

i lost 3 customers when i switched over out of 300+ customers but ive picked up bigger better paying jobs and more jobs in general BECAUSE I USE WFP!plus all the add on jobs.its a win win situation.

You'll gain far more than you'll ever lose, make more money in less time & be SAFE while doing so!

WFP can be a difficult learning curve & you'll not be "flying" to begin with but........ it will be the best move you ever make!

How can you possibly say that, have you asked them?
I know your worried and think you will loose customers after parting with lots of money.
If you spend more time on the first cleans, they will be good. (I hated the first cleans though)

I gave out a letter to everyone explaining the change. I told everybody that I would keep the prices the same but asked them to support me on the results for 3 cleans and would go back to trad if they were unhappy. I lost one out of 300
I didn't take any ones money until they had dried and they were happy. With one gobby piece on my round I went and cleaned on the Monday popped in on the Tuesday to check the results. There were a few spots so I redid them. Wednesday I called to check and she had got me some of her friends as she had been raving about "the stick thingy"

Is there no one local that can show you the ropes, it's all about confidence. Most of your customers will support you they want you to be safe.

I'm sure it will go well.

he might not want to lose customers hes had for years. as i said depending on how many i dont know the amount if its only 3 or 4 just replace.

I had a couple of customers who before I went to wfp, or told them I was changing over said they didn't like wfp. When I did change over I spoke to them and said that I remember them saying they didn't like it and asked why, the reason they didn't like it was due to previous windy not doing a good job with. I said let me do them with wfp, and if there were any problems they didn't have to pay. I didn't looses them as customers, and I am still doing them 4 years later with WFP

I had a massive round in Bebbington. Bought it for just over 3k was about 1.2k a month. They paid on average  £6 for 3 bed semi (they thought it was MADDNESS when I tried to rise it to . Guy I bought it from was trad. Lost 30% of the work. Custys attitude was disgusting.

This post ain't really about losing custys to trad. But more about "HOW PEOPLE FROM THE WIRREL ARE CRANKS" never again. Sold it it cheap.

We didn't lose one customer as if they didn't like wfp we offered trad.

FWD 4 years, all the trad work is now dumped bar one house and we don't even recognise the round now.

Some roads we had no customers on, now we have literally the whole street.

I think if you are a good wfp'er you will pick up loads and loads of work. Picked up a lot of customer who currently have WFP but they are not getting the results they were promised. I clean the house and its looks perfect after first clean and stays that way
