Yes. Definitely need a flow controller.

These are 2 things you shouldn't scrimp on.

I'm on my third year with same pump and controller. If you buy cheap you buy twice.

thanks jonny im on process of trying to get list to make order to build my 1st system

i cant fit a 250 litre tank across the seat inca but it will fit length ways , most systems
ive seen are across the van. This wont affect stabily or create any problems will it?

Just make sure it's properly secured. It should be ok. Not ideal, but ok.
