Thermo Bore Hose?
« on: November 20, 2013, 09:10:38 pm »
Is there a big difference between thermo bore and the standard hose, in terms of heat retention.
Im not really bothered about its flexibility etc more for the retention of heat

Regards
Bob

I noticed a big difference. I have my heater running in minimum and it still comes out Luke warm at the brush head.

If your going to use hot it's a must in my opinion.

Themobore is not made to retain heat its made to prevent de-lamination under heat. The standerd will swell up and burst.

I don't know posh words. It I do know my water is definitely hotter coming out if thermoborw hose.

Mayb the fact it doesn't swell as much means it holds more heat. Not sure.

I still have both. The thermo bore definitely retains heat more. Started off with yellow hose, then got thermobore for the purpose of using less gas while still heating the water.

It worked. :)
