Hi guys recently changed the circuit board on my digital varistream from Williams pump to there newest one I remember reading in the manual but have misplaced it now and cant find it on internet that the jumpers on the circuit board by either removing one or placing it elsewhere you could by pass the sensor that lets you know if your battery is low on voltage etc.. the trouble is it is flashing u and then shuts off apparently that indicates the voltage from battery is low so the varistream shuts off and its annoying when you have to keep going back to the van, so was wondering if any of you know what to do with the jumper to by pass the battery situation. cheers mike

You need to remove the jumper on con 2 (connection 2) and just keep it, dont place in anywhere else. So just pull it off lol

Make sure NO power is running to the controller

I have opened the latest model Varistream controller I have as a spare. I see the cons2 terminal posts, but on the controller I have there is no jumper on any of the 'posts'. I got the instruction manual out and it mentions that Under voltage kicks the unit out at 10.3V. I bought this Varistream controller and pump kit about 2 years ago as a spare in case of breakdown so wonder if these jumpers are on the latest variant.

I haven't done it yet, but will try soon, I have 2 varistream one is the older version the latest one has the jumpers on ive not even open it to look at the jumper settings yet but do remember seeing them when I put it together when the new circuit board arrived instantly noticed a difference from the old one. so will try and get round to this soon.

I've just had to mess about with my digital varistream . Still not entirely happy .prior to this it was fine . The problem is it peaks at five , if I turn it up it becomes stop start . That link you just put up Ian shows the pressure settings 0 to 9 . Also a  - f . I didn't even know there was any letters on it . . What are they for and should I use em to change the pressure setting . Cheers barry

ok guys an update with the varistream situation I was sick of having to go back and forth to the van and see it on u and of course if would stop working so finally removed the jumper and it has been working evr since even though I still get it flashing L that is because I have a couple of joins in the wires and im more than 100% sure if I were to sort the wiring out it woudnt be flashing L again, but yes removing the jumper has certainly sorted the problem out.

They come preset from the factory at 'C' for a 100 psi Shurflo pump.

Would you say the controller uses less power than digital spruce?

The other thing is, because the pressure switch on the analogue unit kicks in about every 1 second or so, surely that would use less power. I tried setting up my varistream correctly. But it would take a good 5 secs to hit the P. If i lowered the pressure setting back down to C it would hit the pressure dead end when cleaning!

Today was a good day to test this vari stream and put it through its paces, well even though it was still flashing L (now I know its the wiring on my part) it performed admirably so removing the jumper has certainly done the trick, thanks for the info guys.........
