Diversifying
« on: November 07, 2013, 03:04:57 pm »
I clean windows and gutters for residential and commercial clients and do very well. I have a strong customer base now to sell them extra services which I'm considering.

I'm going WFP in Feb 2014 so looking at other ways now to diversify
I'm considering adding services like:
carpet cleaning
pressure washing
builders cleans
contract cleaning
conservatory roof cleaning
roof cleaning

Has any other window cleaning company added any of these services to their business and if so, how we'll did you do?

Regards
Danny

Hi Ian how's the pressure washing doing. I remember you posting about your first job.

How many jobs per month are you getting?

Hi Dan made a good bit of money from it and sold it last month as upgrading to  zeta in the new year.

Probably didnt get it pushed earlier enough in the year so will hit it hard from march.

Easy to make £300 a day min and prob £500 ish if you get a big job or 3 little jobs lined up for same day  :)

Are you going to just leaflet or will you be advertising in local paper also?

There's a pressure washer on machine mart I'm looking at,

It's only £600 or thereabouts and produces 250 bar (3600 psi) at flow rate of 18l per minute. 13hp I think

Sounds like good value

That was some work I'm looking to sell on. It's not all of the work I have but looking to go more commercial and diversify into other services.

The work I aim to keep is larger houses that are more suited to WFP.

Have owned many different makes of petrol powered pressure washers, but this unit is in a class of it's own. Being able to adjust the pressure is a huge advantage
