Shop work - Aldi
« on: November 07, 2013, 10:50:22 am »
I've been asked to quote for a new Aldi store but I don't currently clean any shops so I'm not sure what price to quote. Can any one give me a rough guide price for this sort of work.

I clean an Aldi - windows AND wiping down freezer tops fortnightly.

Its easy work, regular, never any hassle getting paid,... just quote at your usual hourly rate (The shop I do takes just under 2 hours) and hope for the best!  ;D ;D

I clean windows in & out + freezer tops fortnightly.

Most Aldi's don't get the first floor glass cleaned at all, as those windows are usually a separate unit & not visible from inside the shop. The ground floor panels that are greyed out usually get washed externally "as required" - ask the manager, but usually once every 2-3 months is enough.

The internal lobby glass is usually the worst with greasy pawprints,.. but the higher sections only need cleaning every 4th or 5th visit.

If you do pressure washing etc mention that, + sign/cladding cleaning as Aldi's do get this kinda work done annually too (At the area manager's discretion).

Keep the area manager happy & you could get more stores,...

you might do the first poopy clean,     then a bigger company might take it over,  if they use national companys.     ask the manager to keep you doing them if possible.

crap if you do them,     get a call later to say not to clean it anymore.

they usually have same local company doing them all in the area.     maybe you can ask to do them all.    after your clean showing how good you are.
