well i got up this morning to ice on my windscreen!started van to warm it up.turned pump on,gas on and flicked the switch on heater,plugged pole in and turned aqua-daptor on(unplugged from brush)with pole hose going back into the lid of tank.

within 10 mins i had a hot reel and a toasty van!

turned everything off and went to my first job.turned everything on again and water was coming out at brush end at about 40 degrees.temperate outside was about 3 degrees.

WOW!hoses are so easy to manage with hot water!snail trails/birdmuck were coming off easier,nice warm hose and i reckon i shaved 15 mins off the time it normally takes to do the work i had scheduled in for today.i squeezed 2 more jobs in and i was all out of water by 330pm!!

im well happy!its a lot more comfortable with hot water!been using cold for 3 and a half years now all year round.i wont be going back!!

pump shut off about 10 seconds after turning tap off.no massive build up of pressure and NO LEAKS AT ALL!!


when i got home i filled tank,put battery on charge and drained heater.


you could say ive had a good day today!ive even enjoyed it!!(nearly!)

very good, i`ve had hot water for the past 2 winters and its worth every penny even if you only use it to have a warm pole

Daz havnt you got a relay in van to charge battery up when driving so you not got to mess about charging it up m8

no danny ive  got a pumpbox.what i do is put an extension lead from my flat through my letterbox and charge it in the van.

no idea where to start with a split relay?ive never fitted one.im getting a new van in a few months so not bothered atm.

you are right Daz, thermobore hose is much easier to manage when hot. Really like my hot water too

Daz don't think there that hard to fit, an auto electrician could do it for ya prob chardg you about £40 you won't look back. I still not put my hot wash in, was gonna do sat but ended up working doing a couple of offices cleaning jobs so hopefully will do this weekend. It's not been to bad down here in Essex. I know the frost will be on its way soon bbbrrrrr

DG i just leave back door open.there is about a 2 foot clearance at top of heater.its fixed right next to back door.i was toying with the idea of hanging it up on van door but thought it might stop working in windy weather plus i work in wet weather so didnt want water getting in the top!

you need to get a carbon monoxide alarm sensor if your not using a flue, it could be pumping lethal fumes inside your van without you knowing,

the l5's dont have a flue because they are meant to be used outside
