James you may as well replace all the clamps apart from the one that holds the brush as you wouldn't need to replace that one. Get Gardiners new clamps that when the pole wears these clamps stop the spinning and they arnt that expensive. Don't know if you've seen the video on you tube of them

Wrap or 1/2 wrap of tape round the top push loose clamp back on - I worked all day like that. ;D

Any decent epoxy resin - better if you glue it somewhere warm - not cold and damp.
In winter you can warm the joint with a hair dryer.
Ask your missus first!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Screw fix do Joiners mate , spray applicator on one side , and put the joiners mate adhesive on the other
Superb stuff , do it within a minute , wait 5mibs then use the pole again .

I always have this in the van
Ready to go again

James, take the clamp completely off and clean it up before you glue it back.
Don't try to part glue it while it spins.
Did mine with 2 part epoxy and works lovely  ;)
