« on: November 01, 2013, 01:23:23 pm »
ive got the brass fittings for my new reel.they wont screw right in to the end.does it matter if there is a bit of thread showing?ive managed to get them in 3 quarters of the way!damn tight fit! ;D

also the washing machine hose doesnt look like it will be up to the job with hot water to be honest.

can anyone put a link up to some good braided hose with a good screw fitting on the end?

cheers guys

Don't forget to put some ptfe tape on the screw threads, then connect together. Otherwise the water may work its way out through the threaded brass section.

Make sure the PTFE is put on the right way too.
I.e clockwise if you have the end of the thread facing you ;D
