Hi Matt... there seems to be a network problem. The site is up and running, but access to it is super slow for some reason. I'm trying to find out more at the moment...

You're gonna have to get used to it. It's all going cloud based I'm afraid.

It's nothing unusual.

online is great, so long as the company have invested in a robust enough server.

online means you can access it in real time from anywhere, home, office, or smartphone/tablet.  it also means the backup is off site.

online is bad if the service is unrealiable or inconsistent.  then it is a big problem

It also means that software can't be had for a one off payment.

But also means it will more then likely be continued developments on the software and not left do go out of date.

no server will give you 100% up time it just insnt possible it needs to be updated continuously like you do with computers and need rebooting.

aworka was only down for a little time! that's all  ??? back running within 30 mins, that's the first time i have noticed it down all year.

I loved window cleaner pro when I first started but now that I need it on my iPad as my lad does the work, it's crap.

I emailed them......no response.

As Jennifer from the office would say: pathetic

David Brent : is it?

Cheers,

Caleb

Ps still undecided on aworka or roundpartner

I use Aworka - I really like it... It needs a few more updates I think, but I prefer it to George (which I used for 7 years).

My only concern that it is online - However I try to make regular backups of all the data just in case...
