getting fit for window cleaning
« on: October 28, 2013, 08:42:44 am »
so what do you guys do to keep fit (if anything) or do you consider window cleaning good enough to keep you trim and active?

ive been going to the gym a couple of times a week and a bit of swimming and i feel great.a bit of weight training and on the bike.

i turned 42 the other week so want to keep as fit as possible and keep my weight down.

i dont know whether its when i went wfp but i put on weight as i wasnt running up and down ladders all day.

i suppose i could sell my extremes and go back to  fibreglass/aluminium poles.then i probably wouldnt need to go to the gym then. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Spend a few hours a week on porn hub should help.

gary running is not for me.17 years running up and down ladders all day and i have a bit of a dodgy right knee.although its improved a lot since going wfp. ;D

i love getting on the bike in the gym for half hour then half hour on the weights.or sometimes i do half hour swimming then an hour on the weights.

regards

5 a side footy for an hour, twice a week keeps me in good nick. Pretty intense pace keeps you fit. I'm 35, but can still keep going longer than the 19yr olds playing-although I'm not as quick anymore!!

don't smoke or drink alcohol if you want to stay fit and drink plenty of water. Sex and swimming is good for you so I've been told. I totally disregard whats bad and live life to the full so if I die younger than the average age at least I will have been happy for most of it  ;D

Running around after 4&1 year old kids helps too

Just running mostly.  Doing the Gower Coastal Marathon in under three weeks.  Have got a trail 20 km race next weekend.

I've never felt fitter or stronger since I was a yoof, to be honest.  I did an enjoyable 20 mile run yesterday, followed by a kebab.

Sex and swimming is good for you so I've been told.

It depends who you have sex with.  I once had sex with my next door neighbour who was married to a large guy in the Royal Artillery.  That could've been bad for my health.

Wow.  That's a very slow time.  I could do that in two days myself.

Carrying my wallet about all day seems to work for me. Alex Gardiner has helped with the excess weight in the past.

Lifting 4 times a week, run once a week and do a lot of walking at the weekend with the misses.

Doing this makes work seem easy
