brush upgrade?hot water system
« on: October 26, 2013, 03:09:20 pm »
did you guys upgrade your brushes when you went hot?

i currently use extreme medium mixed, medium sill brush and medium mixed SL standard brushes.

ive just ordered

2 extreme stiff brushes

1 radius stiff sill brush

1 SL stiff brush

to be honest ive not been impressed with the medium mixed extremes.they are fine for a couple of months then lose their shape and dont seem to scrub very well.both the sill brush and sl standard brushes are ok though.

I've got medium mixed radius sill as my everyday brush.
A bit floppy after 2 months if I'm honest.
I'm going to try for stiff bristles next month.

Daz, you can 'reset' the brush bristles by submerging only the bristles, but not the stock, in just off boiling water for about 20-30secs and leave to cool,. It puts them back into their original shape.

It's a drama on telly about converting a wfp system from a cold one to a hot one.

kempy i would try a tecbrush but they are heavy!as i use extreme poles with the light aqua-daptor i mainly use extreme brushes and SL standard brushes.sill brush great for fascias, soffits and conny roofs so ive just gone one up in bristle stiffness.hopefully theyll be able to handle hot water and last a bit longer.

ive heard of downtown abbey griff but ive never watched it.i think my mum and dad watch it though! ;D ;D

your right gary ive always said there was no need for hot water.i do change my mind a lot.i also weigh up the pros and cons and come to a decision.sometimes it takes me a long time to make a decision but once my mind is made up i go for it full steam ahead!(pardon the pun!) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

i still think hot water is a luxury but i like luxury!and why not!i work hard enough!and can afford it.

if i dont think its for me i could easily go back to cold water knowing ive tried it out.
