Hi Guys,
I have finally taken the plunge and have converted to water fed pole, although will still be trading as well for some properties.
Just wanted to ask if anyone had a leaflet or link to a leaflet (or similar) that I can pass on to customers when cleaning by wfp for the first time. Its much easier to explain im sure with something visual, they can be looking at it while im cleaning the windows.

I just turned up and cleaned fair enough I lost 2 or 3 but I've gained more than I've lost.

I have to back what DG said.

We did have a wee bit letter which explained about WFP which we got from a supplier but most customer did say 'You anit using that brush on my house' then we explained it to them and they Still said No and some Said Okay we try it and I lost 3 domestic due to that but gained about 4 well paying commercial clients.

I noticed the speed difference when using WFP compared to Trad.

When I went over to wfp I lied and told customers I'd nearly had a fall from a ladder and it made uneasy about using the ladder again and for them to see how it goes with wfp for a few months.

I only had one customer cancel.

be prepared to loose a few custys.dont get disheartend its a part of a learning curve. dont bother with a letter . you will find you will have a bit of spare time on your hands when you build up speed remember take your time until you have masterd it. i still cock up from time to time and loose a custy.i say you only get out what you put in. they will be times when you get ped off and think what have i done.good luck

Thanks fellas for the replies, sorry its taken me a while to reply.
I agree with what the replies are telling me, I will just get on with it. I can still offer the trad if a customer is adamant that they done want me to use a pole (if I want to keep them anyway).
Not lost any so far, although only been at it for just over a week, one customer was a bit funny with me today but then came round when I explained how it works. I also tell them to give it a try and if they aren't happy I will clean them again! cant be any more upfront than that.

Yes and eventually you will be laying the law down as you will notice that say next door was 2 times faster and this customer is forcing you to do it for the same price but for a 100% pay cut

if a lot of your customers are out in the day time working etc, i would just get on with it they wont notice the difference.

if you tell them you are changing then they will be examining the windows  for faults and streaks etc.
