Best/worst payers
« on: October 21, 2013, 03:18:41 pm »
Funny how one of my best payers lives in Thailand, met once.

Yet my worst payers are friends and the houses we do down my street.

Makes me laugh

I started putting DirectDebit as the main option for domestic.

My customers have started to Love GoCardless DirectDebits as one said 'I know you clean my windows and I don't need worry about being in the house to pay you or call to pay you but it just all happens'

Trouble is if you fall behind for what ever reason.

We have 550+ regular customers, and with this weeks weather forecast, we will def be falling behind.

Gocardless is direct debit, not standing order, so it doesnt matter if you fall behind as you don't take the payment until you've done the clean.
Unfortunately I am finding that customers do not want to give out their bank details online to some company they've never heard of, only got 1 customer signed up so far.

I just explain

Your DirectDebit is with 'Your company name' and which GoCardless helps us manage it and where you are in full control of this and you can delete this DirectDebit from speaking to your bank.

Just good DirectDebit Guarntee and that should sell it to them.   Plus you can take there Bank Details and Manually set it up for them.
