It all depends on your budget,if you can afford it gardiners superlite and also the gardiners extreme has to be a good option!

X-Line Evolution Pro Plus. Great budget pole. We use a 60ft one with no problems.

Paul it all depends to a point how much work is at that 50-55ft height i find my s-max 35 whippy at full height and never feel to confident about the end results of the clean .

You can either buy some extra sections for your current pole or i would think it would have to be between an extreme or a superlite modular .

Depends how often and how long on the job you are going to use it which for me would dictate as to how  much money i would be willing to part with .

And would also make me inclined to look at the Unger pole AJ recommended fi their is only 30 mins work at full height every month . Mike

Extreme or SL modular

After discussing with someone may just add extensions to my slx 30 ... For what I need the extra reach for ( couple of jobs a month) ... This will work out as the cheaper option too at the minute without going all out and jumping in for a new pole ...

Anyone else think this is best option?

I'm looking at extensions 7-10 .. Total cost less then approx £300 ..

If its only a straight forward job go for it.
If its big jobs go for superlite or extreme.

Dorma windows slightly set back 4 storeys up ...7 in total all on same job . Once they're done my slx 30 will sort the rest easy ... So yes straight forward ..

i prefer having 2 separate poles then you dont have the faffing about of extending and taking away sections.

25 extreme(main regular day to day pole)

47 extreme(for higher jobs and solar panel cleaning)

my extreme 47 is a godsend at full height.i used to have a supermax 40 and to be honest found it a nightmare to use at full stretch for solars or higher window cleaning.it bends too much and feels heavy.the extreme still bends but much stiffer and lighter.i dont use it that often but what i will do is after a couple of years ill swap the sections round so ill have a virtually unworn 25 extreme as my main pole and put the worn 25 on the 47.that way my poles could last 4-6 years before needing replacing.

best of both worlds IMO. ;) :)
